- Technical information, such as your browser, device, IP address, and pages you view, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Take, fulfill, and deliver orders, including shipping within the United States and Canada.
- Process payments, prevent fraud, and keep the store secure.
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your questions.
- Send product news, only where you have asked for it or where the law allows, and stop when you unsubscribe.
- Understand how the store is used and improve our products and pages.
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting duties in the United States and Canada.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who help us run the store, and only for the purposes above:
- Shopify, which hosts the store and checkout.
- Payment processors that handle your payment.
- Shipping carriers that deliver your order in the United States or Canada.
- Email and analytics providers, when we use them to send messages you requested or to understand store traffic.
- Professional advisers or authorities, when we must share information to comply with law, protect our rights, or respond to a lawful request.
Some of these providers may store information in the United States, Canada, or another country where they operate. We ask them to protect it and use it only on our instructions.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout, and sign-in to work, and optional cookies that help us understand traffic. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may stop checkout from working.
If you live in the United States
Residents of California, and of other states with a consumer privacy law, can ask us to:
- Tell you the categories of personal information we collected, used, and disclosed.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to records we must keep for orders, fraud prevention, and tax.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Appeal a decision if we decline a request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You can make a request through our contact page. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. You may use an authorized agent where your state allows it.
If you live in Canada
We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for the purposes set out in this policy, or with your consent, or where the law otherwise allows.
You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to optional uses such as marketing. Withdrawing consent does not affect information we still need to complete an order or meet a legal duty. To ask a question or make a complaint, contact us through our contact page. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How long we keep information
We keep order and account information for as long as we need it to provide the store, handle returns, and meet tax and legal record-keeping duties. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless we must retain a record of your request.
Children
The store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
